The City of Corpus Christi advises residents and motorists that on Tuesday, July 4, various street closures will be in place for the Mayor’s 47th annual Fourth of July Big Bang Fireworks Celebration.

As part of the ongoing Bond 2018 Gollihar Road project, beginning Tuesday, June 25, the Vestal Street entrance south of Gollihar Road will be closed for approximately two weeks for concrete work.

 In response to the significant rain and wind damage caused by Tropical Storm Alberto, Mayor Paulette Guajardo has announced the filing of a disaster declaration with the State of Texas. 

The City continues to monitor the effects of Tropical Storm Alberto and is aware of damage to Padre Isles Property Owner’s Canals as a result of bulkhead failures.
