The Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD) reminds residents that National Fire Prevention Week is October 9 through October 15. This year’s theme, “Cooking safety starts with YOU, pay attention to fire prevention”, coincides with a donation of smoke alarms to the CCFD from the Insurance Council of Texas through a grant from State Farm.
