 The Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD) continued to enhance public safety with significant improvements and expansions in Fiscal Year 2024. 

A partir del lunes 14 de octubre, habrá cierres de carriles y rampas de salida en South Padre Island Drive (SPID) entre Weber Road y Everhart Road todos los días de 9:00 a.m. a 4:00 p.m. para trabajos de servicios públicos subterráneos en el área. Los cierres permanecerán vigentes hasta el viernes 18 de octubre.

Vector Control continues its efforts to reduce and control the mosquito population. During the day, Vector Control applies larvicide in stagnant water areas and sprays for adult mosquitoes in the evening.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has declared today, Thursday, October 10, an Ozone Action Day. The Ozone Action Day will be in effect for Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, and Victoria areas.  

 En honor a la Semana Nacional de Prevención de Incendios, el Departamento de Bomberos de Corpus Christi (CCFD) recibió una donación de detectores de humo de la compañia de seguros State Farm. 

In honor of National Fire Prevention Week, the Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD) received a donation of smoke detectors from State Farm Insurance. This contribution underscores the importance of fire safety and the critical role smoke alarms play in protecting lives and property.

In conjunction with National Fire Prevention Week, the Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD) will receive smoke detectors donated by State Farm Insurance.  

The City of Corpus Christi continued its commitment to public safety in fiscal year 2024 by significantly improving and expanding the Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD).

Vector Control continues to reduce and control the mosquito population.

 The Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD) invites residents to participate in the 41st annual National Night Out (NNO) on Tuesday, October 1.
