The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District, in collaboration with the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department and VFit Productions, will host its first-ever Neighborhood Fitness event on Saturday, March 23, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at South Pope Park, located at 3933 Fort Worth Street, 78411 (District 2). 

The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) has updated the state's COVID-19 reporting requirements and school exclusion policies to reflect changes in COVID-19's effects on public health.

On March 6, the Nueces County Commissioners Court voted unanimously to delay the date of their termination of buying services from the Corpus Christi – Nueces County Public Health District from April 1 to September 30. 

The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District will host “#YourPublicHealth Check-in: Free Health Screenings and Flu Vaccines” from Monday, February 19 to Friday, February 23. The hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.

The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District’s Mobile Clinic will be at Driscoll ISD on Friday, January 26, located at 315 W. Dragon Street, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Corpus Christi Animal Care Services (CCACS) has observed a recent increase in raccoon sightings in local parks.

Free At-home COVID-19 tests are available at the Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District, at 1702 Horne Road, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 pm to 5:00 p.m.  

 The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District’s Mobile Clinic will be at Solomon P. Ortiz Middle School on Wednesday, December 6, located at 208 E. Ave H. from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
