Pavement repairs on Ocean Drive between Country Club Drive and Ennis Joslin Road will begin Tuesday, August 12.

Beginning on August 11, Calallen Drive will be reduced to one lane to accommodate construction crews working to enhance the street’s infrastructure. The project, funded through a bond initiative, includes a complete rebuild of the existing street and utilities, ensuring a safer and more efficient roadway for all users.

Starting Monday, August 11, the west side of Nueces Bay Boulevard will be closed from the I-37 frontage road to Leopard Street to allow for three critical water line tie-ins to the existing 16-inch water line.

The completion of asphalt paving on Nueces Bay Blvd, extending from Up River Road to Interstate Highway 37 (IH37), is scheduled for Thursday, August 7, through Friday, August 8.

On Tuesday, August 5, Everhart Road will be closed between McArdle Road and Lamont Street from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Utility improvements along Ocean Drive, from Country Club Drive to Ennis Joslin Road, are scheduled to begin this week and last approximately 30 days.

The Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD) Headquarters will experience a temporary utility power interruption on August 3 from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This scheduled outage is necessary to examine the existing CCPD main switchgear and install a new backup power generator.

West Broadway Street from Port Avenue to Lexington Avenue will be closed for construction beginning Monday, August 4, through Wednesday, August 6.

Waterline improvements on Mt. Vernon Street at the intersection of Everhart Road will temporarily close the road from July 31 through August 2. During construction, Mt. Vernon Street will be closed from Everhart Road to Wynona Drive.
