At today's regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the Council authorized a significant investment in the city's public safety infrastructure.

On Wednesday, October 15, the intersection of Everhart Road and Staples Street will receive upgraded traffic signals.

Construction crews will be working in the 4700 block of Megal Drive near Everhart Road beginning Monday, Oct. 13, for approximately two weeks. A small section of Megal Drive near Thundersee Drive will be closed.

The City of Corpus Christi announces the extended closure of Poth Lane from I-37 Frontage Road to Noakes Street. This closure will commence on October 13 and is expected to last for approximately three months.

The City of Corpus Christi announces the upcoming complete closure of Everhart Road from South Padre Island Drive to Lamont Street. This closure is scheduled from Thursday night, September 25, at 11:00 p.m. to Friday morning, September 26, at 6:00 a.m.
