The City of Corpus Christi has opened a second overnight Cold Weather Refuge Center for those needing food and a warm place to stay. The Center is at the Del Mar College-West Campus FEMA dome, located at 4101 Old Brownsville Road.

The National Weather Service predicts cold temperatures will impact the area Friday night and Saturday. A Freeze Warning is in effect from 3:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. Saturday for the inland areas, with a Freeze Watch in effect for the coastal areas. Lows are expected to drop to 25-32 degrees.
