Janet F. Harte Public Library Announces Operating Hours Adjustment to Enhance Student Safety on School Campus
To enhance student safety and comply with the safety and security requirements established by the Texas Education Code 61.1031, the Flour Bluff Independent School District (FBISD) and the City of Corpus Christi have mutually agreed that the City adjust the operating hours of the Janet F. Harte Library during regular school hours and the summer school session. The Harte Library is located on the Flour Bluff High School campus at 2629 Waldron Road in City Council District 4. It serves FBISD students during school hours and city library patrons as well, in the same location.

Council Approves La Retama Central Library Exterior Renovations
At today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council awarded a $2,027,560 construction contract to Crawford Henrichson and Crawford LLC for exterior renovations to the La Retama Central Library.

Temporary Closure of McDonald Public Library
The Ben F. McDonald Library, located at 4044 Greenwood Drive in Council District 2, will be temporarily closed from Saturday, May 3, through Tuesday, May 6. It will reopen on Wednesday, May 7.
