The National Weather Service predicts cold temperatures will impact the area beginning Sunday evening through Wednesday. City officials are monitoring the potential for freezing rain and ice on the roads

The National Weather Service predicts cold temperatures will impact the area Friday night and Saturday. A Freeze Warning is in effect from 3:00 a.m. until  9:00 a.m. Saturday for the inland areas, with a Freeze Watch in effect for the coastal areas. Lows are expected to drop to 25-32 degrees.

 The National Weather Service predicts warm conditions Saturday and Sunday before a cold front moves into the region, bringing cooler temperatures. Low temperatures could drop to near freezing through Thursday night.

The La Retama Central Library, located at 805 Comanche Street, will undergo essential interior repairs to the first-floor ceiling and flooring, resulting in a temporary closure from Friday, November 22, through Monday, December 2.
