The mission of Animal Care Services is to advocate for the humane care of animals, promote responsible pet ownership, and protect the health, safety, and welfare of its residents and their pets.

Animal Care Services provides a variety of services including:

1. Pet Adoptions
2. Lost and Found Services
3. Field Enforcement and Investigations, including bites, dangerous animals, cruelty and neglect and other animal ordinance violations
4. Registration, microchipping and licensing
5. Rabies Control Program
6. Limited Animal Surrender
7. Volunteer and Foster Care Programs
