  • City to Conduct Water Pressure Testing on Newly Installed City Hall Skylight

    After nearly three decades of wear and tear, the City Hall skylight warranted a full replacement process. To ensure the long-term safety and weather-resistance of the repaired skylight, the City of Corpus Christi will conduct a watertightness test on Monday, May 18.

  • La ciudad de Corpus Christi adjudica contrato para proyecto de agua residual tratada

    En la sesión ordinaria del Ayuntamiento, se adjudicó un contrato a Reytec Construction Resources, Inc., con sede en Houston, Texas, por un valor de hasta $16,194,400. Este contrato contempla la adquisición de los materiales necesarios para la construcción de una estación de bombeo y una línea de agua residual tratada desde la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales de Oso hasta la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales de Greenwood.

  • City of Corpus Christi Awards Contract for Reclaimed Water Project

    At today’s regularly scheduled City Council Meeting, the City Council awarded a contract to Reytec Construction Resources, Inc., based in Houston, Texas, valued at up to $16,194,400. This contract allows for the procurement of items necessary to construct a pump station and reclaimed water line from the Oso Water Reclamation Plant to the Greenwood Water Reclamation Plant.

  • Lane Closures at Leopard Street and Nueces Bay Boulevard

    Ongoing construction at the Corpus Christi Detention Center will require lane and sidewalk closures on Leopard Street and Nueces Bay Boulevard.

  • UPDATE: Traffic Switch Planned for Yorktown Boulevard at Rodd Field Road

    Due to weather, the traffic switch planned for Yorktown Boulevard from Rodd Field Road to Oso Creek Mud Bridge on Saturday, April 25, will now begin on Saturday, May 2. Yorktown Boulevard traffic will close on the eastbound lanes from Rodd Field Road to Oso Creek Mud Bridge. Traffic will shift to allow two-way travel on the remaining lanes. Access to neighborhoods and businesses will remain available during construction. 

About Us

The mission of the Engineering Services Department is to assist City departments in support of new projects and to maintain existing infrastructure through cost-effective execution of the Capital Improvement Program and technical support. We also inspect public infrastructure in new private developments.
