About this Election
The City of Corpus Christi will elect their Mayor and Council Members for the 2024-2026 term. Candidate applications will be taken in the City Secretary’s Office at City Hall from Monday, July 22 through Monday, August 19 during normal business hours. The application must be accompanied by either the $100 filing fee payable by cash, money order or cashier’s check or the petition with signatures. Residents will also vote on Bond 2024 projects and the sales tax renewal. Information about those ballot items will be posted once approved by City Council.

The City Secretary acts as the compliance officer for federal, state, and local statutes, including the Open Meetings Act and the Public Information Act, and serves as the filing authority for campaign finance reports and financial disclosure statements.
