The City of Corpus Christi and the Mayor’s Committee on Veteran Affairs will host a Women Veterans and Flag Day Commemoration Ceremony on Saturday, June 13, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ben Garza Gym, 1815 Howard Street.

The ceremony has been relocated from Sherrill Veterans Memorial Park due to ongoing construction at the park.
The Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce the upcoming opening of the Bill Witt Aquatic Center, located at 6809 Yorktown Boulevard, on May 23. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. The facility will be open to the public from 1:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
