 The City of Corpus Christi will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the completion of the Rodd Field Road Expansion.

 The City of Corpus Christi invites residents from all five Council Districts to participate in community input sessions with city officials regarding the Proposed Bond 2024 Program and Type A Sales Tax Reauthorization.

  The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality report that the Coastal Bend is expected to experience elevated Particle Matter (PM) levels throughout today and into Tuesday. 

The City’s next Litter Critter community cleanup event will take place on Saturday, May 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial High School parking lot, located at 3750 Cimarron Boulevard.

Today, the Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD) held a graduation ceremony for the 27 new officers of the 83rd Academy Class. The Academy prepares candidates to become the officers our community expects and deserves. 

Beginning Monday night, May 6, the Everhart Road project will advance to Phase 1B. During this phase, the closure of the southbound lane will be extended beyond Whataburger Way and conclude just prior to Burney Drive.

 The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department is gearing up for its After Hour Kid Power after-school program for children ages 5 to 13.

Beginning Monday, May 6, the City will close North Shoreline Boulevard just north of Bridgeport Avenue to conduct maintenance activities on a manhole in the roadway.  

During the City’s weekly briefing from the National Weather Service, City officials were informed of worsening drought conditions affecting the watershed for Lake Corpus Christi and Choke Canyon Reservoirs.
