Council Approves Construction Contract for Northside Aquatic Center
Council approved an $8.7 million construction contract with South Texas Building Partners, Inc. of Corpus Christi to build the Northside Aquatic Center. Cold Conditions Expected this Weekend, Residents Need to Prepare
A cold front will push through late tonight into Friday morning, dropping temperatures to near freezing Friday night. Strong north winds will create hazardous marine conditions through Saturday. The City has protocols in place to ensure proper and safe City services, such as public safety, roads, water and wastewater, and animal care.

City Will Open Overnight Refuge Centers and Daytime Warming Centers
The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Cold Watch for the area from Saturday evening through Monday morning with temperatures in the 20s to 30s and wind chill values in the 10s to 20s. Frostbite and hypothermia are likely if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.
