Yorktown Boulevard: Rodd Field Road to Oso Bridge
Road Reconstruction Project
City construction crews are working on road improvements on Yorktown Boulevard from Rodd Field Road to the Oso Bridge.
The work is part of a $25.5 million road reconstruction project that will increase the two-lane road to a four-lane road. Voters approved the work in 2020, and it is expected to be completed by fall of 2027. Neighborhoods and businesses will remain accessible during construction.
The work includes improvements to pavement, curbs and gutters, and streetlights, as well as the construction of new or improved sidewalks, ADA-compliant curb ramps, signage, pavement markings, and traffic signals. In addition to surface improvements, the project includes improvements to stormwater, water, wastewater, and gas infrastructure.
JE Construction Services is the contractor.
