Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City of Corpus Christi are excited to announce that the city has been selected as an expansion city for the nationally renowned retailer Bass Pro Shops.

The City of Corpus Christi, in conjunction with John Sisk Auctioneers, Inc., will hold the City’s annual vehicle and equipment auction on October 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at 5352 Ayers Street.

At today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council approved the designation of 127.72 acres as Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) #6. This will enable the construction of Barisi Village, a blend of residential and commercial spaces in the Pharoah Valley Neighborhood.
