  • MLK Day March Canceled

    The 38th Annual MLK Commemorative March, scheduled for today, has been canceled due to inclement weather.

  • Phase 1 of Alameda Street Project Set to Begin

    Phase 1 of the Alameda Street Project will begin on Monday, January 15. The street reconstruction will result in a closure of the southbound lanes on South Alameda Street from Southern Street to Chamberlain Street.

    Many City of Corpus Christi offices will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.

     The National Weather Service forecasts a strong Arctic cold front will move into the Corpus Christi area Sunday, resulting in below-freezing temperatures Monday and Tuesday night with cold wind chill values across the region through Wednesday morning.
