Council approved a lease agreement with Big Johnson Fuel & Lubricants, LLC. The five-year lease, with options for two additional five-year terms, will establish a full-service marine fuel station at the Coopers Alley L-Head.

The City of Corpus Christi celebrated the start of park improvements at Commodore Park on the Island with a groundbreaking ceremony this morning.

All roadways are open in the area of Everhart Road and South Padre Island Drive (SPID) as construction crews have completed the final section of the $29.3 million project.

The City of Corpus Christi will break ground on park improvements at Commodore Park on Thursday, February 12, at 10:00 a.m.

The $3.4 million project will significantly enhance this regional park.

At today's regularly scheduled City Council meeting, the Council awarded a $15.8 million construction contract to Bay Ltd. for the complete reconstruction of Alameda Street, stretching from Airline Road to Everhart Road.

Council approved the adoption of the Padre/Mustang Island Mobility Plan, formally incorporating it into the “Plan CC Comprehensive Plan."

At today’s regular scheduled City Council meeting, the Council amended the City’s Project Financing Zone No. 1 to support qualified initiatives associated with the Convention Center Complex.
