Se acerca el periodo de presentación de solicitudes de candidatura
La Secretaría Municipal recuerda a la comunidad que el periodo para presentar solicitudes de candidatura para las próximas elecciones de alcalde o miembros del concejo municipal comienza el lunes 20 de julio a las 8:00 a.m. Los aspirantes a candidatos deben entregar sus solicitudes a más tardar a las 5:00 p.m. del lunes 17 de agosto.

Corpus Christi City Council will hear an overview of the 2027 proposed budget for Corpus Christi Water during a workshop meeting at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, July 16. Health Advisory: Public Health District Reports Increase in Cyclosporiasis Cases in Nueces County
The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District (CCNCPHD) is reporting a significant increase in Cyclosporiasis cases in 2026. According to current provisional data, Nueces County has confirmed 20 cases of Cyclosporiasis from January through July 2026, marking an increase of more than four times the total reported cases in 2025.

BISSELL Pet Foundation “Empty the Shelters®” Pet Adoption Event is Back
The City of Corpus Christi Animal Care Services is proud to participate in the BISSELL Pet Foundation “Empty the Shelters ®” event, joining animal welfare organizations across the country to help more pets find loving homes. During the event, BISSELL Pet Foundation will sponsor adoption fees for cats and dogs throughout July, making it more affordable for residents to welcome a new pet into their families. All adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
