Health Screenings, Chronic Disease Management, and Education

Health Screenings

No-cost health screenings are offered to all Nueces County adults and include blood pressure, A1c, total cholesterol, and body mass index. A health screening is a simple 10-minute exam that can help tell you if you’re at risk for diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure. Our trained staff can help you understand your numbers and lower your risks. Walk-ins welcome!

Chronic Disease Management

Our staff is trained to provide education and teach the skills needed to manage chronic diseases. Health Education offers 6-week long small group workshops that can help you build your confidence in your ability to manage your health and live a full life.
