     The National Weather Service forecasts a strong Arctic cold front will move into the Corpus Christi area Sunday, resulting in below-freezing temperatures Monday and Tuesday night with cold wind chill values across the region through Wednesday morning.

    At today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council approved the first reading of an ordinance creating a sixth tax increment reinvestment zone (TIRZ #6).

  • City Provides Commemorative MLK Day Information

    Monday, January 15, marks the 61st anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s iconic “I Have a Dream” speech. The day became a federal holiday in 1983. In 2020, the City Council voted to make MLK Day a municipal holiday.
