The City of Corpus Christi invites the community to the Bill Witt Aquatic Center ribbon-cutting event. Please make plans to join us as the City celebrates the opening of this exciting amenity for everyone to enjoy. This will be the seventh public pool in Corpus Christi, and the first to be built in 50 years!

Vector Control is actively working to manage mosquito populations across the city. 

This month marks the City Manager's sixth anniversary, a period during which Corpus Christi has seen transformative progress.

Beginning Wednesday, May 21, construction work will close West Broadway Street between North Port Avenue and Peabody Avenue. The closure is expected to be completed by mid-July.

The first-ever One Water Summit will bring together nearly 350 water and wastewater professionals at the American Bank Center on May 22-23. This event will showcase innovation across the water and wastewater sectors while fostering collaboration between leaders in the field.

Work on the Cooper’s Alley L-Head construction project is now underway and will require a lane closure. Two-way traffic will continue on the westbound lane. Flaggers will be present to help navigate the construction zone.

Due to ongoing drought conditions across Texas, the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) informed the City of Corpus Christi that there was insufficient water supply in the Lower Colorado River for Monday, May 19.  

Roadwork on Martin Road will require lane closures, beginning Monday, May 19. Travel will be one-way southbound from Holly Road to Dorado Street.

The City of Corpus Christi and the Corpus Christi Aquifer Storage and Recovery District (CCASRD) are reminding residents and businesses within their jurisdiction to comply with water well registration requirements to ensure responsible groundwater usage.
