Cambio de ubicación de Litter Critter en Corpus Christi para el 12 de abril
El próximo evento de limpieza comunitaria de Litter Critter de la ciudad se llevará a cabo el sábado 12 de abril, de 9:00 a. m. a 3:00 p. m. Originalmente programado para la Escuela Secundaria West Oso, se ha trasladado al terreno baldío junto a la Iglesia Católica de Nuestra Señora del Pilar, ubicado en la calle Bloomington 1101.

Landfill Gas-to-Energy Plant Exceeds Expected Annual Revenue in Its Inaugural Year
When the Corpus Christi Renewables, LLC landfill-gas-to-energy plant opened one year ago this week, the City of Corpus Christi projected its annual revenue to be over $1 million. However, the revenue has quadrupled due to the advanced technology utilized at this facility, which converts landfill gas into clean, renewable natural gas.

Elizabeth Street Traffic Shift
Starting today, traffic on Elizabeth Street will shift to the eastbound lanes from South Staples Street to Santa Fe Street as crews continue work on the roadway. One-way traffic on Elizabeth Street is allowed with a detour on Morgan Avenue. This will be in effect through Monday, April 14.

City of Corpus Christi Approves Raw Water Purchase Contract with Formosa Plastics Corp.
At today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council authorized an Untreated Raw Water Purchase Contract with Formosa Plastics Corporation. The contract will provide the City with a supplemental water source during Drought Status: Stage 3.

Update: Corpus Christi Litter Critter Location Change for April 12
The City’s next Litter Critter community cleanup event will take place Saturday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Originally to be held at West Oso High School, it has moved to the vacant lot next to Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church, 1101 Bloomington St.

City Responding to Temporary Loss of Power at O. N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant
On Saturday, April 5, an AEP Texas transmission line that powers the O.N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant failed, temporarily causing a loss of water pressure in the Calallen area. The staff at the water treatment plant were able to switch to a secondary line within minutes.
