 The City of Corpus Christi Animal Care Services (CCACS) reminds residents to take appropriate action regarding their pets and cold weather. 

 On Wednesday, January 3, the ongoing Everhart Road Project will extend into Phase 1A, which goes from South Alameda Street to South Staples Street. 

Beginning Wednesday, January 3, weather permitting, Texas Department of Transportation contractors are scheduled to resume resurfacing travel lanes on the JFK Causeway bridge’s main span with a polyester polymer overlay.

The Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD) and the Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD) would like to remind the community that discharging fireworks within the city limits, including the beach area, is prohibited. 

End this year by participating in the 2023 Black-Eyed Pea Half-Marathon Marathon and 2-Person Relay 5K & 10K being held along Corpus Christi Bay on Saturday, December 30.

 Street closures along major City streets impacting motorists and pedestrians are listed below. These closures may be due to construction, special event activity, or maintenance.

The Flour Bluff Drive and Peaceful Lane intersection closure will be extended for emergency utility work.

 All City of Corpus Christi non-essential offices will be closed during the week between Christmas and New Year's. Most offices will be closed beginning Monday, December 25, 2023, and reopen on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

 The City's Solid Waste Services Department and Code Enforcement Division have collaborated with the Texas General Land Office (TGLO) and Texas Parks and Wildlife to promote the Vessel Turn-In Program (VTIP).
