    The City of Corpus Christi announces the launch of an online community budget survey to gather input from residents and help shape the upcoming Fiscal Year 2026 Proposed Budget. 

  • City to Offer Adaptive Swim Lessons for Persons with Disabilities

    The Corpus Christi – Nueces County Public Health District’s vision for every child and young adult who wishes to learn to swim, regardless of their ability to do so, is closer to becoming a reality. The Health District coordinated a specialized train-the-trainer workshop on May 4 at Collier Pool, where Swim Angelfish instructors taught 14 participants from the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department, school districts, and other community programs that provide aquatic programs.

  • New Life Jacket Loaner Program Enhances Water Safety at Sunrise Beach

    The City of Corpus Christi and Corpus Christi Water (CCW) are pleased to announce the installation of a new life jacket loaner stand at Sunrise Beach RV Park at Lake Corpus Christi.

  • Ennis Joslin Road Lane Closures

    Motorists are advised that underground utility work near the intersection of Ennis Joslin Road and Nile Drive will require varying lane closures. Beginning Monday, June 2, crews will close a small section of the northbound lanes near the City’s Oso Water Treatment Plant, allowing two-way travel on the remaining lanes. 

  • Summer Hours for Dr. Clotilde P. Garcia Public Library

    Beginning Monday, June 2, the Dr. Clotilde P. Garcia Public Library, located at 5930 Brockhampton Street (Kaffie Middle School), will modify its summer operating hours through Sunday, August 10.  

  • Thousands of Runners Expected for Annual Beach to Bay Relay Marathon

    The City of Corpus Christi is preparing for the 48th Annual Beach to Bay Relay Marathon on Saturday, May 31. Over 9,000 runners and hundreds of spectators will participate in the event, one of the largest relay marathons in the United States. 

  • Peoples Street Boardwalk Update

    Continuing work on the Peoples Street Boardwalk will require a lane closure near the Peoples Street T-head, the landmass that goes into Corpus Christi Bay near the Marina from Shoreline Drive.

  • Vector Control Mosquito Treatment Schedule and Routes

    Vector Control is actively working to manage mosquito populations across the city.

  • Baldwin Boulevard Lane Closures Planned

    Baldwin Boulevard between Ayers Street and South Staples Street is scheduled for a repaving. The work will require lane closures but will allow two-way traffic.

  • 2025 City Memorial Day Weekend Schedule

    Most City of Corpus Christi offices, including City Hall, Public Libraries, Municipal Court, Development Services, and Public Health District services, will be closed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2025.
