The City of Corpus Christi announces the launch of an online community budget survey to gather input from residents and help shape the upcoming Fiscal Year 2026 Proposed Budget.
The Corpus Christi – Nueces County Public Health District’s vision for every child and young adult who wishes to learn to swim, regardless of their ability to do so, is closer to becoming a reality. The Health District coordinated a specialized train-the-trainer workshop on May 4 at Collier Pool, where Swim Angelfish instructors taught 14 participants from the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department, school districts, and other community programs that provide aquatic programs.

Motorists are advised that underground utility work near the intersection of Ennis Joslin Road and Nile Drive will require varying lane closures. Beginning Monday, June 2, crews will close a small section of the northbound lanes near the City’s Oso Water Treatment Plant, allowing two-way travel on the remaining lanes.

The City of Corpus Christi is preparing for the 48th Annual Beach to Bay Relay Marathon on Saturday, May 31. Over 9,000 runners and hundreds of spectators will participate in the event, one of the largest relay marathons in the United States.
Continuing work on the Peoples Street Boardwalk will require a lane closure near the Peoples Street T-head, the landmass that goes into Corpus Christi Bay near the Marina from Shoreline Drive.

Baldwin Boulevard between Ayers Street and South Staples Street is scheduled for a repaving. The work will require lane closures but will allow two-way traffic.
Most City of Corpus Christi offices, including City Hall, Public Libraries, Municipal Court, Development Services, and Public Health District services, will be closed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2025.
