2026 Warrant Resolution Month
Throughout September, the Corpus Christi Municipal Court is offering residents a convenient opportunity to resolve active warrants without the fear of arrest.
You can clear your record by contacting the court anytime this month to set up a payment plan or explore other options to resolve your case. The goal is to reach a simple agreement with the court to resolve your warrant safely and easily.

Address Your Warrants
Any payment made online or by phone results in a conviction, you can pay Online or By Phone. If you need alternative methods to resolve your warrants or need a payment plan, you must appear in person.
✔ Pay Online
All payments made online will incur a 3% fee + a $2.50 convenience fee. Partial payments will not clear your warrants. You must appear in person at the Municipal Court to address your warrants if you can not pay in full.

✔ Speak to a Judge
To speak with a Judge about a payment plan or other options, you can appear in person Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
About Arrest Warrants
These are warrants for Class C Misdemeanor offenses, which range from violations of the traffic code, penal code, and City ordinances. A Municipal Court Judge issues a warrant for defendants who:

- Do not comply with making an initial appearance to answer the charge filed against them,
- do not appear for an assigned court date, or
- Are not in compliance with a court order.
A $50.00 warrant fee is added to the balance on each case every time a warrant is issued, and cases are reported to OminBase which adds an additional $10.00. Cases with warrants are also referred to a collection agency and adds a 30% of the balance due on every case.
Cases with active warrants are assessed additional fees and costs. Outstanding warrants are reported to a collection agency, reported to the Department of Public Safety, and Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. You may be denied your right to renew your driver’s license and/or register your vehicle.

Community Court at the Library
The Corpus Christi Municipal Court will help you address your warrants and/or Outstanding Parking Ticket! Join us at the upcoming Community Court at the Library on September 19 to address your warrant or ticket. If you appear in person you will NOT be arrested.

Municipal Court is open to the public from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with extended hours on Thursdays from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. The Municipal Court encourages the public to resolve their case online, by email, mail, or by phone.
