Mission and Vision:
The Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) Program is committed to supporting and strengthening the capabilities of Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District to prepare, respond and recover from public health emergencies and other natural or manmade disasters, in coordination with local, state, and federal partners.

The mission of the Corpus Christi – Nueces County Public Health District is to prevent disease, disability, & premature death; promote healthy lifestyles; and protect the health & quality of the environment for all residents of Nueces County.
