The City of Corpus Christi is preparing for a large influx of visitors to area beaches during Spring Break 2024.

The City of Corpus Christi is pleased to announce the completion of upgraded LED lighting for the eight miradors on Shoreline Boulevard and additional enhancements to the Seawall.

At today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the Council approved an amendment to an agreement with Corpus Christi Renewables (CCR) to allow for the capture of landfill gas at the J.C. Elliott Landfill.

 The Landmark Commission is accepting nominations for its Annual Preservation Awards. The submission deadline is April 8.

On February 21, the City of Corpus Christi officially became aware of the proposed Nueces Green Ammonia facility north of Robstown, Texas, outside Corpus Christi city limits.

The Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD) and Corpus Christi Professional Firefighter Association’s annual Fill the Boot campaign will be collecting donations on March 8, 15, and 22. 

A grand opening ceremony will be held at La Retama Central Library to celebrate the first free public sensory room in the South Texas region. 

The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department offers SPARK day and weekly camps for youth ages 6 to 16 during the month of March at the Lindale Recreation Center, located at 3133 Swantner Drive.

Street closures along major City streets impacting motorists and pedestrians are listed below. These closures may be due to construction, special event activity, or maintenance.
