Hilliard Law today announced the acquisition of naming rights to Corpus Christi’s premier event venue.

The City of Corpus Christi and the Type B Corporation are cultivating the next generation of community leaders thanks to a recent collaboration with the University of Texas at Austin’s Home to Texas Internship Program.  

The City’s next Litter Critter community cleanup event will take place on Saturday, August 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Briscoe King Pavilion parking lot, located at 15820 Park Road 22.

The City of Corpus Christi invites residents to participate in community input sessions for the proposed FY 2026 Budget, with sessions scheduled in each Council District.

On Tuesday, August 5, Everhart Road will be closed between McArdle Road and Lamont Street from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Calvary First Baptist Church, in collaboration with the Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department, will host a dedication of the newly constructed pavilion at the Dr. H.C. Dilworth Park, located at 3000 Elgin Street.

The Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD) Headquarters will experience a temporary utility power interruption on August 3 from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This scheduled outage is necessary to examine the existing CCPD main switchgear and install a new backup power generator.

West Broadway Street from Port Avenue to Lexington Avenue will be closed for construction beginning Monday, August 4, through Wednesday, August 6.
