At today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council awarded a $5.48 million contract to JE Construction Services, based in Corpus Christi, for the construction of a Solid Waste Compost Yard. This new facility will be located at the Cefé Valenzuela Landfill.

Utility and street improvements on Taylor Street will begin Monday, July 21.

Lane closures on Taylor Street between North Lower Broadway Street and North Water Street will be in effect through October.
