Sports
Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation offers various sports programs, classes, camps, leagues, and tournaments for youth and adults. Leagues are run at City ballparks and other facilities throughout the city. We operate two public gyms and three sports fields. They are available for event rentals, leagues, practice, and more. Youth Programs
Summer 2025 Basketball League
6-Game Program: June 9 to June 27
Games: Weeknights from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Eligible: Boys and Girls Ages 6 to 13

Ben Garza Gym, 1815 Howard Street
Fee: $70 per player

Summer 2025 Sports Camps
Season: June 2 to July 31
5 Different Sports: Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Football, and Speed/Agility
Format: 4-Day Weekly camps
Eligible: Boys and Girls Ages 5 to 18, ages vary by sport

Fee: $70 per camp per youth
Online Registration:
Open now through July 28.
Closes the first day of each camp.

Adult Programs
Open Play Pickleball
Ongoing Program: Participants can drop in and play without the need for formal teams or leagues. This encourages social interaction, skill development, and fun! Only online payments will be accepted. For more information, call 361-826-3478.

Men and women ages 18 and older
Time:
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Drop-In Fee: $7 per player
