Swim Programs
Through our swim lessons, we teach swimmers of all ages and skill levels to master swimming while teaching the importance of water safety. Group swimming lessons are designed for children ages 3 to 12. Teen/Adult, as well as Parent & Toddler classes, are also available. Level placement is based on the student’s swimming ability, age, and date registered. Swimmers ‘graduate’ to more advanced levels once they are competent in all the skills covered in the previous level.

The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department invites you to use the Collier Pool during natatorium closures. Please call (361) 826-1720 for possible schedule updates before heading to a City pool.
The Great Pumpkin Rescue on October 10
Join us for our third annual Great Pumpkin Rescue on Saturday, October 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the H-E-B Pool (1520 Shely Street)!
Kids ages 2 to 17 can dive in to rescue a pumpkin. At 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m., up to 50 kids will dive each hour. The 10:30 a.m. session includes special needs/adaptive swim to join in the fun. Be sure to pre-register online to secure a spot!
Enjoy pumpkin decorating, music, and open swim after each rescue. Family and friends can cheer from the sidelines, and the pool will be open to everyone afterward.
A food truck will be on-site with delicious food and drinks for purchase! First 30 sno-cones are FREE!

Register for Swim Lessons
Through our group swim lessons, Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation's staff members teach swimmers of all ages to master swimming while also teaching the importance of water safety.
NEW: The Adaptive Swim Lessons will be offered as one-on-one instruction. The fee is $50 for eight 30-minute sessions. To sign up, email BonneyM@CorpusChristiTX.gov to receive additional instructions.
Pools and Schedules
The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation maintains seven pools throughout the city. Two pools operate year-round, and five additional pools are open during the summer months.
